Live Your Dream & Shine in Your Reality. {Free Printable}

Fifteen years ago I began my professional adventure. Within 5 years of finishing school, I had worked my way up the corporate ladder and had it made – a fabulous corporate design career, a partnership in my own firm and an impressive clientele of VIPs. I ate, slept and breathed design and loved every minute of it… or so I thought.

After a while I became exhausted, over caffeinated and longing for a life that I just couldn’t grasp in the path I was on. I packed it all in and began my quest for a new existence. Enter gorgeous hubby, two incredible kids and a perfect pooch. Family life had made me complete… or so I thought.

Very quickly I realized that I needed to be creative just as much as I needed to be a mother. Corporate designer and mother, the two couldn’t be further apart. One thing I knew was that there was no room in a corporate designer’s life for children, and that children certainly wouldn’t have room in their lives for a corporate designer mommy. I refused to give up either and truly believed I didn’t have to.

With a burning desire to blend these two separate lives I discovered something amazing. Four little words that would change my life in a big way… Work-At-Home-Parents. For me, these four fabulous words meant so much more than defining my new position in life. They defined an entirely new niche market in which to explore my creativity and develop my business. These people understood my parental commitments, my entrepreneurial passion and me. By aligning myself with like-minded, business savvy momprenuers, I was able to have it all!

This year I celebrate four years serving WAHP, small business and starts ups and there is not a day that goes by where I don’t feel gratitude. I have the BEST job in the world doing exactly what I love – mothering and designing.  My clients are the key to my success as they too are living a union of business and parenthood fueled by passion. They are the inspiration and foundation for my business. They allow me to shine.

One thing I know for sure is passion delivers amazing results and determination fuels the desire to succeed and shine. May you always live out your dream and shine in your reality.
