Every detail of your website is an important factor in how it is perceived by your readers. Even the tiniest speck can change how something looks. This is why choosing the right font is an important decision for any website. Here are some tips to help you find the perfect choice…
Does it Match?
Is this a personal website or one for business? This will determine the type of font you choose. You do not want something too crazy or avant-garde for a company website. However, for a blog or a personal page, you can get a little more wild. Also, be sure it matches the theme and goal of the web page. It’s hard to pinpoint this in an article, but certain fonts work with certain colors and shapes, while others don’t. Have others to come in and look, even if you think it looks great.
Is it Legible?
This is probably the most important factor. Can people read it? This does not include Wingdings or other symbol-based fonts. This simply refers to those scripted fonts that can be difficult readable. Keep it simple and clean for the best results.

Is it Professional?
You should choose a professional-looking font if you plan on reaching a larger audience. If the website is just going to be for friends and family, then choose whatever you want. Just keep in mind who will be seeing the site.
Some people may argue and say that the font is useless and pointless. Marketing and advertising experts will agree that the font is the subconscious of a website. You may not always notice it, but it is there, and imploring its impression on you ever so subtly.
