About the business: When Birdsong started in 2006, owner Deanna McCool wanted to create a hair bow company known for its artistic beauty, attention to detail, and customer service. Deanna’s love and passion for art shined through in every hair accessory she made. Soon she discovered the joy of teaching others how to craft their own bows and accessories, and her business evolved into a tutorial and pattern company. A writer and editor, Deanna knew she could create e-books that are as professional as any bookstore craft manual. Her detailed tutorials have been written, edited, photographed and designed to be easy to use and beautiful to look at. Several include access to online videos so you can watch Deanna as she walks you through different steps in the process. So pick up some supplies, set aside an afternoon or two, and curl up with a Birdsong pattern.
